Archaeologists have discovered an enormous statue of Amenhotep III, Egypt's Pharaoh from 1390BC - 1352BC. The 13.5m (44ft) discovery was made in the king's funerary temple where a number of other important pieces have been found. The statue is made of coloured quartzite and is currently in large pieces but will be restored. Amenhotep III was the grandfather of Tutankhamun.
