About this favourite

Climate change may not be bad news for all species.  The Brown Argus seems to be thriving in the warmer temperatures and records show that it has extended its habitat by 50 miles (80kms) in 20 years as it has moved gradually farther north in Britain. It is thought that this is because of the increased coverage of their favourite food, wild geraniums, whose development has been encouraged by the better weather.
