The Clown Lab is a project being organised for free for children and adults staying at the Il Torrino apartments in the heart of Tuscany. Accommodation details are below. An actress (dressed as a clown) will take the lead and teach some of the art of being a clown. The actress belongs to the C'art Theatre Project in nearby Castelfiorentino that has been established for 10 years; providing lessons, workshops, shows and photo exhibitions on the art of being a clown.
The labs for children and adults have been thought out in order for people to find their own personal identity, through the character of a clown. A clown is seen as the figure that frees ourselves for fun, to really show the "silly" part of all of us, playing together. The experience of being a clown will hopefully bond adults to their children and help personalities to surface through the identification of their own character.
The Clown Lab will be organised with a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 10 children, is free to guests at Il Torrino and will take place once a week - depending on demand.
