Celebrity Cruises has announced its partnership with Goldenvoice, producers of the legendary Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to create the first festival at sea.   In December 2012, the popular Coachella Music Festival, will take to the high seas on Celebrity Silhouette with the inaugural S.S. COACHELLA. Offering a unique experience to guests, who will experience performances by Coachella artists in intimate settings, S.S. COACHELLA on Celebrity Silhouette will take place on two separate cruises with a stellar line-up confirmed for both sailings.  

Guests can choose from two exotic itineraries: Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas, December 16-19, 2012 or Fort Lauderdale to Jamaica, December 19-23, 2012. Pulp will headline on both sailings, with performances by Hot Chip, Simian Mobile Disco,Yeasayer, Girl Talk, James Murphy (DJ Set), Sleigh Bells, Z-Trip, !!!, Warpaint, DJ Harvey, El-P, Killer Mike and more. Additional activities and surprises will unfold during the voyage, along with all the experiences that Celebrity Silhouette provides to help guests relax and unwind.

Celebrity Silhouette is one of the most stylish, luxurious ships at sea. Currently the newest ship in the world-renowned Solstice class, Celebrity Silhouette offers 12 dining venues, 9 bars, multiple theatres and a pool deck reminiscent of some of South Beach, Miami’s hottest hotels, making it the ideal backdrop for the inaugural S.S. COACHELLA.
