DRIFTWOOD
About this favourite

Based in Guildford, Surrey Driftwood are importers and distributors of exotic hardwood driftwood sculptures which have been ethically sourced from beaches in the South West Pacific region.

Each driftwood piece, whether mounted on a natural stone base or not, is a testament to the beauty of nature. With the individual graining and wood type of each specimen, enhanced by the restless motion of the waves and a final sandblasting on the windy sun drenched shores of the Pacific Ocean, the originality of each sculpture is ensured. Selected on location for their dramatic appearance and character, each driftwood piece is a unique reminder of the beauty of nature at its very best.

The great variety of trees that grow in the temperate climate of the regions that Surrey Driftwood import from provides a rich harvest of durable and beautiful wood which, unlike rainforest or lake collected woods, will last for generations to come!
Apart from private purchases where driftwood is being bought to enhance garden, patio, conservatory or indoor settings as a special feature Surrey Driftwood have also supplied their unique, naturally sculpted driftwood pieces to a wide variety of commercial clients including restaurants, company reception areas, Landscape Gardeners, film and studio settings and even to the Penguin enclosure of a Zoo!

A new stock of driftwood has recently arrived from the south west pacific region and is now in stock in the Guildford area.

Surrey Driftwood are exhibiting at the Surrey County Show on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May 2011 and further details may be found at: http://www.surreydriftwood.com or on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Driftwood-UK/214525298562988
