evitavonni Roof Garden
Launching in spring 2012, our magnificent third floor decked roof terrace is the next stage of our flagship store refurbishment.
The spectacular roof garden will boast enviable views across the Georgian roof tops of Farnham, Surrey and will be the ideal space to demonstrate our exterior design abilities and showcase evitavonni’s innovative outdoor furniture.
The roof garden will feature a mix of contemporary and classic styles, offering something to suit all tastes. In addition to furniture, the garden will encompass a broad range of accessories such as planters, outdoor lighting, outdoor fabric and outdoor fires.
The final phase of our flagship store renovation, to be completed by the end of 2012, will be the grand opening of our Champagne Bar. This luxurious space will provide a desirable retreat for those looking to unwind, relax with friends or simply celebrate in style.
New Brand Launch: Bellora
evitavonni are privileged to launch Italian luxury bedding brand, Bellora in the UK this year.
Bellora has been manufacturing fabrics made from natural fibres since 1883; quality and craftsmanship are fundamental to their heritage. Bellora has written its history as of today weaving thin wires of “wisdom” into the years, rendering itself a true guardian of the culture of pure linen and cotton blend fabrics.
Vitally, the evitavonni brand shares several key characteristics with Bellora which are integral to our image: supreme quality, elegant design and craftsmanship – resulting in an inevitably efficacious partnership.
After the successful launch of the Heritage Collection, a collection of luxurious fabrics inspired by quintessential Britain at London Design Week in March; the Heritage Collection
is expanding into accessories.
The collection will consist of a range of cushions and throws.
Kate Williams, Design Director:
“We have made a conscious effort to support British manufacturing. In 2011 we launched our Astaire collection which features 100% wool in herringbone, stripes and check designs. We worked closely with a Somerset-based mill, which has been weaving cloth for the fashion industry since 1772. Subsequently, around 95% of the Heritage Collection 2012 has been woven in the North of England. The collection comprises a diverse assortment of interesting textures and patterns combined with a delicate palette of light tones”.
Autumn/Winter Fabric Collection 2012: Preview
To launch exclusively this September at Decorex, evitavonni will be adding to its ever-expanding, collection of luxury fabrics with two unique designs. The new Autumn/Winter 2012 fabrics are inspired by contrasting and interesting textures and will be heavily embroidered. The tones will be soft and elegant and can be combined seamlessly with evitavonni’s existing Henley
and Heritage Collections.
Kate Williams, Design Director will be unveiling more about the collection shortly.
evitavonni supports Maggie’s with Garden Party at recently refurbished Roof Garden
evitavonni are proud to have been invited by House & Garden to hold one of several ‘garden parties’ to support UK charity, Maggie’s. The timing couldn’t be better, as our soon-to-be opened roof garden will be the ideal space to host a relaxed garden party. Attendees will participate in a floristry workshop and enjoy afternoon tea in the tranquil surroundings of our roof garden.
About Maggie’s
The charity was set up by cancer sufferer Maggie Keswick Jencks during her own battle with cancer. She recognised the need of those touched by cancer to have a space where they can go and relax, obtain information and share company with those in similar situations without feeling vulnerable.
• Today there are 15 Maggie’s Centres which are either established or in development across the UK
• Each peaceful, uplifting centre has been designed by a different, renowned architect with the objective of creating the most appealing space possible for cancer sufferers and their friends and families to enjoy
Our event with House & Garden will be during the month of August – date to be confirmed.
All proceeds from the garden party will go to Maggie’s. To find out more about Maggie’s, visit:
