Discovery Puglia offers a new fantastic tour in September and October for all those who love food, wine and photography!
The tour is divided into two parts:
- 3 days where you can independently visit wine cellars and taste Apulian wine, walk through the beautiful towns of Itria Valley and practise with your camera;
- 3 day photography workshop with a small group where you won't have to worry about driving, but only to appreciate the scenery and cuisine of Puglia through the techniques taught by your tutor, a photographer in love with Puglia and its food.
The photography classes will alternate with cookery classes, held in a luxury country manor house, to learn how to make traditional products such as orecchiette and taralli.
It will certainly be a multi-sensory experience in the extraordinary Apulian setting: a 6-day itinerary through the land of trulli and the south-east of Bari.
You will have the chance to visit some of the most beautiful spots of the region, such as Polignano a Mare, a bustling little town built on cliff edges overlooking the sea, or Ostuni, known as the "White City" for its whitewashed houses on top of a hill.
You will look at the Apulian nature through your camera lens among centuries old olive trees and amazing coastline locations to be immortalised in everlasting pictures.
And least but not last, you will enjoy two cookery classes in an exclusive and ancient country manor house, authentic place for divine food, Mediterranean nature and warm Southern hospitality.
