We've all got used to the idea of buying confectionary, cigarettes, canned drinks including beer on the continent, and I've even seen used schoolgirls knickers for sale in vending machines in Japan, but a company from Germany have moved into an altogether classier realm and begun offering mini gold bars and coins from its machines.
The UK's first machine has been installed in the Westfield shopping centre in London and there are already machines in Germany, Italy, Spain, the US and UAE. The machines are connected to the gold market and prices are updated roughly every 10 minutes currently a 1g bar comes in at about £40
