Helsinki-Vantaa Airport has long been carried out in Designed for Smooth Traveling philosophy. In particular, this year, design is important to us as we celebrate not only 60-vuotismerkkipäiväämme the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 pääyhteistyökumppanuuttamme.
Design and art are displayed, and great all year round, changing exhibitions, shops, restaurants, and around the airport in areas where we develop the customer experience through service design.
Design Gallery is running an exhibition, "Sit down and seize the moment", which houses 15 chairs from Finnish designers. Chairs are not exhibited only admirable, but they are also invited to sit down and feel the unique moment of Finnish design and silence people.
