One of the highspots of the Wonder Festival at Chiba, the KR01, the Kuratas Battle Mech is a 13 foot high one man battle machine that could be the future of warfare for real. Designed to be operated by one person seated inside the machine or remotely via an iphone, the robot can be configured to fire 6000 rounds per minute, making it an awesome fighting machine.

The robot has been designed and built by Suidobashi Heavy Industry and will cost £900,000, no problem for the warlord with a big wallet and arsenal. One sinister element of the remote control setting is that the robot unleashes its full power when the operator smiles - nice touch!
