Las Tejas, Santiago
Las Tejas, Santiago
About this favourite
Forget everything you've heard about the best places to go in Santiago, and head straight for Las Tejas.
A small entrance opens into a vast hall filled with tables, raised voices, and an old fella busking on an accordian. The tables are large, and you might find yourself sat with a bunch of people you've never met before. The drinks are cheap and the food is incredibly cheap, just don't expect to see a menu, they serve what they have. Las Tejas also serves excellent Terremotos, the Chilean national drink, chardonnay and fernet topped off with pineapple ice-cream.
A fantastic night out. Ideal for a group. It's like drinking in a different century.
