About this favourite

The latest reports show that cases of Malaria in the UK have hit a ten-year high, the result of UK travellers visiting more exotic destinations. With cases in the UK up by 27% in the last two years, it is time to protect your family from this fatal disease.*

If you are planning to travel to a Malaria infected country with your family, or even to midge prone Scotland, Craghoppers has just launched the FIRST EVER insect repellent clothing collection for children.

The new Craghoppers NosiLife kids range is an exclusive PERMANENT insect repellent collection, featuring tops and trousers for boys and girls which will protect a new generation of travel enthusiasts!

Made using the same high-performance fabrics as the adult's NosiLife range, the boys and girls NosiLife travel clothing not only features permanent protection against mosquitoes, midges and ticks for bite-free adventures, it also offers SolarDry UPF 40+ sun-protection, and controls body moisture and odour - a winner for trouble-free travel.

Essential to any travelling youngster the Boy's NosiLife Graphic Hoody (SRP £35) is a double-duty hooded top that makes a great casual summer cover up, whilst permanently repelling biting insects, thanks to its built-in NosiLife technology.

The cotton/polyester elastane jersey features quick drying fabric, moisture control technology and SolarDry UPF40+ sun-protection. The Graphic Hoody is available in Cedar and Faded Indigo, in sizes 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13 years.

For the girls the NosiLife Graphic Atoll+ T-shirt (SRP £25) is a pretty tee featuring a quirky print. It offers NosiLife permanent insect-repellent technology for permanent protection against biting bugs. This crew neck top also features moisture control technology and SolarDry UPF40+ sun-protection. It's available in Sea Salt and Sweet Lavender, in sizes 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13 years.

With World Malaria Day (25th April) approaching, leading travel brand Craghoppers is urging Brits planning an Easter or Summer getaway to be malaria aware and keep holiday health at the top of their travel check list.

It has been reported that more Britons than ever are contracting malaria and the number needing NHS care for the deadly mosquito-borne illness has hit a ten-year high.

The disease is responsible for killing an average of nine people in the UK every year and NHS figures show that last year there were 2,590 occasions where a patient needed treatment for malaria - this is up 27 per cent in the last two years, and hospital doctors are having to deal with more than seven cases a day.

Malaria is brought into the UK by travellers returning from exotic destinations where the disease is prevalent such as Tanzania, where Cheryl Cole famously contracted the disease in 2010. But it's not just long-haul destinations that can pose a malaria threat. European countries like Turkey and Greece - prime holiday destinations for Brits - are also now malaria hotspots.

As well as taking the standard precautionary measures including anti-malarial drugs, travellers can also help to protect themselves and their families with insect-repellent clothing, which protects against ALL insects - including malaria infecting mosquitoes.

A world-exclusive from travel brand Craghoppers, NosiLife is the ONLY PERMANENT insect repellent clothing on the market which gives up to a 90% reduction in mosquito bites.

NosiLife's active ingredients are completely non-toxic and non-irritant and the range is ideal for travellers as it not only protects from mosquito bites but it is also anti-bacterial, combating odour and infection. All garments are extremely lightweight and feature SolarDry UPF 40+ sun protection and moisture control to keep cool in hot climates; making them perfect for everyday wear.

The lightweight garments travel easily and can be worn and washed as often as you like, as unlike other insect repellent clothing, the NosiLife treatment doesn't wash out as the technology is woven into the yarn before the garment is made.

NosiLife clothing is available for men, women and new for 2012, children with tops, t-shirts, trousers, hoodies, dresses, skirts, socks, scarves and now also underwear, plus much more in the range to give the traveller complete protection from the dangers of malaria and other insect bites
