Space Port America at Upham, New Mexico is nearing completion and almost ready to start the countdown to The Spaceship Company and Virgin Galactic's paying passenger space programme.  The 3.5 hour adventures will include at least 6 minutes of weightlessness during the flights which will see the ships reach heights of more than 100 kms. The carrier aircraft will take the space vehicle to 52000ft at which point the craft will separate with Spaceship One or Two continuing into orbit.  6 passengers will enjoy the experience before returning to Earth at Upham with it's extra long 3000m runway.
