Tai Chi in the park
Tai Chi survey confirms benefits
About this favourite
A new survey in Hong Kong has shown that Tai Chi can make a significant improvement to the health of the elderly. Particular benefits were shown in arterial compliance, the expansion and contraction of the arteries, which have a strong bearing on blood pressure. Tai Chi practitioners had recordably lower blood pressure than other people of similar age and the mind and body exercises also showed muscular improvements to the survey group.
