The dream team of BIG, Martha Schwartz Landscape, Buro Happold, Speirs & Major Lutzenberger& Lutzenberger and Global Cultural Asset Management  have been appointed to implement  ambitious plans to totally rejuvenate the city centre of Tirana, Albania's capital.  Including a Mosque, which will join two new churches in the city, Scanderbeg Square will be transformed into an Islamic Cultural Centre with plazas and The Quran Gardens.  Tirana will become a shining example of religious harmony at the meeting point of Islam, Catholicism and Orthodox Christiantity.
