Hauser Bears are thrilled to announce their 2013 Adventure - an amazing five days trekking in the beautiful Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania. Our intrepid travellers will journey for four days through stunning gorges, over mountain ridges, past ancient castles and mysterious forests. Each night they will sleep in mountain huts or local guesthouses and enjoy hearty local food - a perfect end to their day.
What makes this trek unique is the fact that on the fifth day there will be an amazing opportunity to visit the 'Cristina Lapis Foundation' bear sanctuary, one of the most beautiful bear sanctuaries in the world. There our trekkers will learn about the plight of bears in Europe and the great success story of the sanctuary. They will also have the opportunity to see Misha, Marko and Maria the bears that have featured so much in the Hauser Bears' news bulletins over the last twelve months.
