Located in the Serra de los Organos, this karstic depression is home to many endemic plants and animals including the beautiful Bee Hummingbird and Cuban Trogon.
Errosion has led to rock formations and cliffs here being sculpted to perfection. Due to the spectacular beauty of this natural wonder UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 1999.
Viñales is a popular tourist destination and offers activities such as hiking and rock climbing.
