With the cold winter weather on its way and the ski season about to kick off, now is the time to wrap up warm and prepare for freezing temperatures. Right on cue, Lowa is introducing a new cold weather boot to its range: the Nabucco GTX. Don’t get caught out on slippery paths or with cold and soggy feet, as the Nabucco offers insulation to -15°C and a non-slip sole making it a great choice this winter. Women in particular will love the snug fur collar available on the women’s model.
Whether heading out for extended snow hikes, pounding the icy pavements on a Christmas shopping mission, or heading to the slopes, look no further than the Nabucco. This comfortable and versatile boot offers a warm, waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Partelana lining guaranteeing a good foot climate and ensures feet stay dry, while the sturdy upper, a combination of suede and Cordura, makes the boot durable and yet pleasantly light.
RUBBER + TEXTILE = NON-SLIP G3 SOLE
However it is the boot's innovative "G³" outsole with textured materials which offers excellent grip and stability on snow, ice and wet ground that really makes it stand out. Through extensive laboratory tests, field tests and 85 years of experience, Lowa has developed a sole unit that offers maximum grip and optimum performance, to provide a perfect combination of stability, ergonomics and slip resistance. Tests found that combining different types of rubber with textile materials could increase grip on different terrains by 32%. The stud arrangement on the Nabucco follows the natural line of the foot motion so that a minimum of one stud is in contact with the ground at all times.
