Nestled peacefully amongst the rain forests and picturesque waterfalls of the Slavan Province, eastern Laos, lies the small but beautiful Tad Lo.
Easily accessible via trips organised from the nearby town Pakse, Tadlo has recently attracted the attention of backpackers- especially those who are keen on adventurous treks, elephant rides and of course swimming
Tad Lo is actually compromised of three separate waterfalls- Tad Suong, Tad Lo and Tad Hang, which surround accommodation grouped in nearby village Kieng Than Lei.
The area is witnessing a sort of guesthouse boom, with locals anticipating an influx of tourists from nearby hotspot Pakse- 85m away via the Salavan Road. Despite this emerging resort-like feel, the surrounding natural beauty is still distinctly Laos.
