In the 14th Century this palace and fortress complex was contructed overlooking the city of Granada. It has both Moorish and European infulences and comprises serveral building and many gardens all of which are beautifully designed and maintained.

The palace was allowed to fall into disrepair for centries until European travellers began restoration and the location is now one of Spain major tourist hotspots and stands as a testiment to Islamic architecture isprining many songs and tales.

The gardens in particular are amazing with the original water transporting systems still used it is outstanding what the architects imagination achieved.
