Leading designer of ergonomic tools, aids and assistive devices for people suffering from debilitating conditions or reduced grip strength, PETA UK, is celebrating MS Awareness Week 2012 by giving customers a 5% discount and donating 5% of all online sales made during May to the MS Society.
MS Awareness Week (30th April – 6th May) is one of the most important weeks of the year for the approximate 100,000 people in the UK living with MS. During MS Week people all over the country raise money and increase awareness of the life changing effect this condition has on so many Britons and this year PETA UK is doing its bit to help.
Genny Crockett, MD of PETA UK commented: “Many of our products are designed to help people with MS lead full, independent lives so donating to the MS Society seemed a natural choice. We truly admire what incredible work the charity does and are delighted to be supporting it in celebration of this inspirational week.”
All PETA products have been carefully designed in response to feedback from occupational therapists and the extensive range includes kitchen utensils, gardening tools and personal hygiene aids. From Easi-Grip Knives and Scissors to Long Reach Trowels and Table Top Finger Nail Clippers, PETA has something to enable everyone to continue doing the things they love such as cooking, spending time in the garden and enjoying arts and crafts.
If you would like to help PETA support the MS Society and receive your 5% discount all you need to do is enter MSSOC in the ‘coupon code’ section when ordering online at www.peta-uk.com. Then, in addition to your 5% discount, 5% of your total purchase will be donated to the MS Society by PETA.
