Discover Bali’s best dive sites with the resort’s new ‘Dive by Design Journey’
Nestled between the sea and the majestic Mount Agung, the secluded and stylish east coast resort of Alila Manggis has launched a new 'Dive by Design' Journey to allow its guests to explore the stunning under-water scenery of Bali's bestdive sites.
The hotel's partnership with the Bali Diving Academy offers experiences for all levels,from those who wish to scuba dive for the first time to the opportunity to complete a PADI Diver Certification. Divers have the chance to weave in and out of shipwrecks or catch sight of manta rays at Manta Point.
The dives on offer include the incredible Liberty Wreck, perhaps the most famous dive site in Bali - guests can explore the 120m structure and take in the stunning Kadinsky esque coloured coral. Passionate photographers will be in their element at Padang Bai, which boasts very shallow reefs that are perfect forcapturing on camera.
The Blue Lagoon, located only 15 minutes from Alila Manggis is a sloping reef shifting to sand at 20 metres and is perfect for divers interested in unusual marinelife. Creatures such as walking scorpion fish, flying gurnards, pipefish and turtles amongst many others have been spotted by keen eyed divers.
