Just when you thought you had seen most of our World's cultural treasures, either on the TV or in the newspapers The World Heritage Committee goes out and finds a whole load more. Recently inscribing a further 25 sites to this elite grouping of natural and man made wonders. The World Heritage List now numbers 936 properties: 183 natural sites; 725 cultural; and 28 mixed.
