There lived a man and then a mouse, and together they rose to fame, and made the dreams of millions around the world come true.
Walt Disney can't be described as anything less than a genius. Today his name stands as a testament to his beliefs, his achievements, his dreams. The Disneyland parks stand as one of Walt’s greatest achievements to date. These parks are located in many locations around the world – Florida, California, Paris – just to name a few.
At 20 I still find the Disney parks (Florida and Paris) a highly enjoyable place to be, call me juvenile if you must but what’s wrong with reliving the magical experiences you may have felt as a child? Disney has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, it has always been something that has brought me joy and happiness, and today I still revel in the films that I watched as I child. Disney has never just been for children, for those who have grown up with Disney and are now adults will remember back to that part of their childhood as an experience of happiness and the belief that the part of themselves that at one point believed in fairy tales is still alive.
Stepping into the Disney parks feels like stepping into a different universe altogether. All of a sudden everything you ever knew before and every worry melts away in a place where dreams become a reality. Forget rationalisation and logical thinking as here you won’t need that. Here you can travel to different lands, into different worlds, meet different people, experience different feelings as you discover that everything is not as you expected.
Year after year I have visited Disneyland in Paris and Florida, and next year I will return to Disneyland Resort in Florida for two and a half weeks for I’m sure one of the most unforgettable holidays I will ever have.
