Here is a look at a truly inspirational mode of transport. I remember watching Luke Skywalker weave between the trees on Endor and thinking to myself that it looked like a mighty fine way to travel. Well, now an Aussie by the name of Chris Malloy is moving our species one step closer to this transportational dream with his hover bike invention. It uses a front and rear propeller mounted horizontally to generate thrust and its proposed uses could include search and rescue, sheep herding, film production, and military uses. It certainly looks like a lot of fun but I wouldn't want to crash one.
